HAPPY Association is the oldest direct support and service organization operating in the municipality of Botosani, which helps the elderly, men, women and children with and without shelter in the municipality of Botosani. We believe that stable housing, sufficient food and the chance to work for a wage are fundamental rights in a civilized society. Since our founding in 2014, the organization has worked on behalf of the community, poor families, the elderly and the homeless. We have contributed to public education and direct services to ensure these goals are realized.
Our programmes, through our quality of life monitoring and local organising, allow us to meet homeless people where they are, giving voice and hope to the most marginalised among them.
Our reputation has been earned through hard work, volunteering with the goal of finding supportive and cost-effective solutions for the homeless. Our first legal victory, the People's Advocate, established the right to food for the homeless: a crucial first step in our victories on behalf of the homeless.We remind you that dozens of homeless people, from Botoșani, during the quarantine period, isolation comfort measures taken against the spread of the Covid 19 virus, have benefited from only one meal a day during this period.
